This may be one of the most important posts I put up on York City Limits this month. Get your flu vaccines! Whether you’re young, old, pregnant or a healthy young adult in your 20s — like me.
The flu is not pretty (swine flu survivor – 2010). And it’s contagious. I single-handedly wiped out a row in my college German class because I wouldn’t stay home.
If you bring your icky germs out in public, you’re exposing others who might be less able to deal with the consequences of fevers, chills, projectile vomiting and immune system breakdown.
Whether you’re underinsured or uninsured, it’s not an excuse. Here’s a list of dates and locations you can get a flu shot for free:
